CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Lead Director of Merchandising Operations – Business Acceleration in Rhode Island to lead a small team of Senior Managers and Analysts. You will analyze market trends, vendor economics, and assortment dynamics to drive growth and profitability across placement, pricing, and promotions.

A strong leader with deep analytics experience will guide Category Managers and partner across Supply Chain and Finance to scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, retail/CPG or related financial services.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team.
• Assess SKU/Vendor/Brand/Promotional incrementality and benchmark market data.
• Build strategy to support merchant-led vendor negotiations.
• Advise Category Managers on vendor agreements and contracts.
• Conduct complex quantitative analyses and build analytical models in Excel/Tableau.
• Develop annual plans and budgets for category strategy and profitability.
• Design pilots and deploy tests in select stores to measure impact.
