Job summary

American Mensa Ltd. seeks a Director of Membership Growth and Connection to lead strategies for membership, testing, and related revenue across the lifecycle. You will manage a four-person team, oversee admissions, onboarding, and customer experience, and expand affiliate partnerships.

The role drives data-informed decision making, budget management, and cross-department collaboration to achieve growth and retention targets within a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience including managing a team in membership/ nonprofit settings.
• Experience with AMS platforms (Salesforce, NetForum, MemberClicks) and CRM tools.
• Experience managing chapter or affiliate networks strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four and oversee membership operations, admissions, customer experience, and local group support.
• Oversee testing and affiliate partnerships to strengthen membership value.
• Analyze membership and testing performance data and adjust strategies to meet budget and growth expectations.
• Develop and manage the department budget and forecast future needs.
