Job summary

ACOG is seeking a Director, Growth & Engagement in Washington, D.C. to drive membership growth, engagement, and retention in partnership with the VP of Marketing and Communications.

The role leads recruitment initiatives, strengthens the member value proposition, and oversees BI related to member and market data. The position requires strategic leadership, strong analytics, and a track record in non-profit membership growth, with hybrid work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in membership promotion, marketing, and retention.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience; CAE certification preferred.
• Non-profit or member association experience preferred; budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership for recruitment and long-term membership growth.
• Develop campaigns with marketing for net growth, retention, and financial sustainability.
• Oversee member value proposition, engagement models, and services.
• Provide data-driven insights from member and market data.
• Lead engagement across programs, services, recognition, and advocacy.
• Coach and develop direct reports; ensure data accuracy across systems.
