Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Northeast to lead regional payer account strategy and senior-level relationships across the Northeast while supporting launch execution and contracting activities.

The role focuses on improving access for complex therapies, translating market insights into actionable account plans, and partnering with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 10+ years in biotech/pharmaceuticals with 5+ years in regional payer account management.
• Established relationships with Northeast regional payers and IDNs preferred.
• Strong understanding of Medical/Pharmacy Benefit Designs and Medicaid.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in rare disease launch and contracting with regional payers.
• Ability to present complex clinical data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop senior-level relationships with regional commercial payers and Medicaid programs.
• Lead account strategy for key relationships in the Northeast territory.
• Execute account-specific business plans for a 16-account portfolio.
• Profile accounts' formulary and medical policy processes to identify launch barriers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve access issues.
• Communicate payer policy changes to field teams and support access wins.
