Job summary

Prolific seeks Operations and PMO leaders to join its Expert Network as subject matter experts. You will apply hands-on governance, portfolio and capacity planning experience to answer research questions and review scenarios.

A quick 10–15 minute test screens suitability, then paid research tasks follow. Selected experts can work from home and are paid for completed tasks, which typically require about one hour of uninterrupted work.

Qualifications

• Director-level or above experience in an Operations or PMO function across sectors.
• Deep background in project governance, resource planning, portfolio management, or capacity planning.
• Hands-on use of planning/PPM platforms such as MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail on governance, planning, or portfolio topics.
• Must have a PayPal account to receive payments from clients.

Responsibilities

• Answer research questions on topics like prioritisation, resource allocation, governance, or operational planning.
• Assess PMO scenarios such as governance cycles, capacity reviews, milestone escalations, and budget forecasting.
• Participate in structured surveys or interviews informing planning practices and PMO operations.
• Provide feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to planning and portfolio management in operations and PMO contexts.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise to help researchers understand how PMO uses planning tools and governance frameworks.
