Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an ITSM Engineering Manager in Chicago to lead engineering across Moveworks, ServiceNow, and internal AI platforms. You will shape automation strategies, mentor a blended team of direct employees and contractors, and own end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives that enhance enterprise ITSM through AI and agentic technologies.

The role requires 8+ years in software/platform engineering with ITIL4 expertise, hands-on AI agent development, and strong leadership across

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive software/platform engineering experience with full-stack or backend development
Hands-on experience building AI agents and multi-agent orchestration
Direct ServiceNow development experience (Flow Designer, Integration Hub, scripting) and Moveworks exposure
6+ years ITSM in a large enterprise with ITIL4 practices and AI-enabled modernization

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end engineering delivery across Moveworks, ServiceNow, and other AI platforms
Design, build, and ship AI agents and multi-agent orchestration for ITSM workflows
Lead a blended team of direct employees and contractors, ensuring consistent engineering standards
Manage day-to-day team operations, sprint planning, code review, mentoring, and performance management
Align automation and AI development with governance on change, release, and CM
Establish SDLC, CI/CD, testing, and documentation practices across in-house and contracted staff
Report roadmap progress and platform health to ESM leadership
