Job summary

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, IT Financial Management to define and lead the IT financial strategy, governance model, and operating practices across the technology portfolio. This role partners with Finance, Procurement, and IT leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost transparency for technology investments.

The Director will oversee vendor spend planning, contract economics, and value realization, driving cost optimization and executive reporting across portfolios,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT financial management or related field.
• Proven leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and governance across a technology portfolio.
• Experience managing vendor spend, contracts, renewals, and cost-optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise IT financial management strategy, operating model, and governance.
• Own budgeting, rolling forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting across the IT portfolio.
• Advise CIO and senior tech leadership on investments, affordability, and value realization.
• Establish governance, controls, and accountability for IT portfolio and service owners.
• Lead vendor financial management including spend plans, forecasts, and renewal economics.
• Develop executive dashboards and forward-looking financial insights with tech-leaders.
