Job summary

Dentsu Creative in New York is seeking a senior strategist who combines brand and connections thinking to guide integrated strategy across earned, owned, and paid channels. You will translate direction into big ideas, briefs, and catalytic strategies that inform creative, content, and media execution.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, mentor junior strategists, and help build a coherent system where ideas scale across platforms and touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6-10 years strategy experience with fluency in creative, content, experience and media strategy.
• Proven ability to develop and communicate breakthrough strategic thinking, not just execute briefs.
• Experience working on B2B brands in complex strategic environments.
• Experience across creative, content, experience and media functions.
• Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders in strategic conversations.
• Experience with social media platforms and/or influencer partnerships is a plus.
• Understanding of how ideas propagate and land in culture, not just single-moment performance.
• Strong communication skills to brief stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Collaborative spirit with ability to mentor and develop other strategists.

• Develop and translate strategy into briefs and catalyzing ideas grounded in creative insight.
• Define strategic rationale and how it moves the business.
• Create brand worlds and articulate character and edges with specificity.
• Guide creative, content, and media teams to ensure strategy translates across touchpoints.
• Identify where ideas reach buying groups and how they appear in paid, owned, and social contexts.
• Lead cross-disciplinary alignment and mentorship within the team.
• Support measurement and learning to refine strategy over time.
