Job summary

Sentara is seeking a Director of Information Technology for the Single Billing Office (SBO) to lead the Epic revenue cycle application portfolio across SBO, Hospital Billing, and Professional Billing. You will partner with Revenue Cycle Operations, Finance, Digital Services, and Executive Leadership to drive optimization, automation, and financial performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Epic Hospital Billing Certification is required.
• Epic Professional Billing Certification is required.
• Epic SBO experience is required.

This role serves as the primary technology leader for enterprise billing transformation initiatives and partners closely with Revenue Cycle Operations, Finance, Digital Services, and Executive Leadership to drive optimization, innovation, automation, and financial performance improvements across the organization.The Director is responsible for technology strategy, governance, portfolio management, operational excellence, vendor management, and leadership of team leads, analysts, architects, and project resources supporting the enterprise billing platform.
