Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Director of Individual Giving to lead the strategic annual giving program and manage a portfolio of leadership gift prospects. This role ensures a seamless donor journey from first-time donor to leadership donor and drives multi-channel fundraising initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a track record of 7+ years in nonprofit fundraising, including leadership experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Job Overview

The Director of Individual Giving is a strategic leadership position responsible for designing, integrating, and growing the individual annual giving program. The Director provides strategic oversight while managing a portfolio of leadership annual gift prospects in the $1,000–$9,999 range and ensuring a seamless donor journey from first-time donor to leadership donor.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, of which 3 years is direct, face-to-face leadership annual giving solicitation experience required.
• Proven experience with the direct management of fundraising programs, with an emphasis on annual fund, and achieving fundraising revenue targets.
• Management of successful multi-channel fundraising campaigns is required.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring individual contributors.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Compensation

$124,517.10 - $155,646.40 annually
