Job summary

Bridgewell, a Massachusetts-based provider of community living and support services, seeks a Director of Independent Living to oversee in-home supports, respite, and ASD/IS programs.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, ensure DDS/CARF compliance, and build strong relationships with funding sources and families. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and dedicated commitment to person-centered care in a multi-program environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in supervisory roles with people with developmental disabilities.
• Experience with budget management and utilization review.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and supervise staff to uphold performance standards.
• Provide leadership and foster a positive team environment.
• Coordinate and manage start-ups for new programs.
• Oversee referrals and ensure resource availability before admission.
• Ensure compliance with DDS, CARF, and agency policies.
