Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, seeks an experienced Director of Imaging Services to provide strategic leadership for all diagnostic imaging operations on-site. You will lead staffing, budgeting, and technology management to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while fostering staff development and collaboration with physicians and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; related work may substitute.
• Experience in imaging services, radiology, or healthcare operations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and imaging safety requirements.
• Proven leadership to develop and motivate teams.
• Financial and operational management including budgeting and staffing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and imaging software.

The Director of Imaging Services oversees departmental operations, staffing, budgeting, equipment, and regulatory compliance to ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality diagnostic imaging services. How You'll Contribute

As Director of Imaging Services, you wil l excel in this role by:

• Departmental Leadership: Developing and implementing departmental goals, strategies, and standards that align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Imaging Operations and Technology Management: Directing daily imaging operations, overseeing equipment maintenance and technology upgrades, and optimizing workflows to ensure efficient, reliable, and high-quality diagnostic services.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Overseeing recruitment, hiring, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to foster a high-performing and accountable team.
• Budget and Resource Management: Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring that operations remain within approved budgetary limits.
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, radiation safety requirements, and organizational policies while coordinating audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety: Promoting evidence-based practices, maintaining imaging quality standards, and advancing safe, patient-centered care across all applicable imaging services.
• Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement: Monitoring departmental performance metrics, productivity, patient satisfaction, and quality indicators while identifying opportunities to improve service access, operational efficiency, capacity, and departmental growth.
• Communication and Collaboration: Building strong partnerships with physicians, clinical leaders, hospital departments, and external stakeholders while addressing patient concerns, resolving service issues, and promoting a positive patient experience.

• Proficiency in healthcare information systems and computer applications, with the ability to evaluate performance metrics, oversee imaging technology, and implement quality improvement initiatives that support patient safety and operational excellence.
