Job summary

HeartFlow in San Francisco seeks an experienced Director, HR Business Partner to partner with people leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and lead talent management and compensation planning initiatives. Translate business strategy into HR programs and act as a trusted advisor to technology teams including Engineering and R&D.

The role requires 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, strong business acumen, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with change management.
• Experience managing employee relations matters (investigation management).
• Strategic thinker with HR best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Proven track record partnering with leaders to drive business results through effective HR strategies and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting technical teams (technology, engineering, R&D & product).
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in HR as an HR business partner/generalist, including 3+ years supporting Technical Functions.
• Up to 25% of travel is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

• Serve as trusted partner to people leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management and compensation planning.
• Partner with Technology leaders to align HR strategies to business goals.
• Drive initiatives for organizational design, change management, employee relations, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with HR to develop and implement best practices.
• Develop strategies to foster a high-performance culture with DEI focus.
• Analyze HR metrics to provide insights on workforce trends and health.
• Ensure compliance with laws and uphold ethical standards.
