Gilbane Development Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Development - Higher Education Partnerships to lead and expand our HE-P3 subvertical focused on P3 development opportunities within the Higher Education sector. The ideal candidate will drive early-stage partnership development and educate potential HE partners while leading a decentralized team of Gilbane BD professionals.

Remote work is possible from any U.S.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in P3, infrastructure development, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity Formation and Strategy Development: lead early-stage opportunities and pre-sale strategies.
• Project Development: manage pre-sale identification, assessment, and development of P3 projects.
• Relationship Building: build and maintain relationships with Higher Education clients and administrators.
• Financial Structuring: develop preliminary project feasibility and value using templates and analyst support.
• Thought Leadership and Brand Development: identify new market opportunities and build strategies.
