Job summary

Pulice is seeking an experienced Director of Health & Safety to lead occupational health and safety programs, analyze trends, and ensure regulatory compliance for mega projects or an entire division. You will provide technical expertise, conduct safety orientations, and review procedures to drive a safe workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, 20+ years in construction or safety, and at least 10 years of managing safety teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or a related field.
20+ years in construction or safety.
10+ years managing construction or safety teams.
Experience with diverse, complex and high-risk construction projects.
Proven ability to communicate safety programs to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee safety program and procedures for a mega project or oversight of all projects in a Division.
Develop division-wide or mega project specific safety procedures and practices; implement trainings.
Review project trend analysis to ensure accurate tracking of incidents.
Oversee safety orientations, trainings, and toolbox talks for all project staff.
Direct site training, equipment needs and inspection requirements to support schedule and cost goals.
Support project safety equipment procurement and provide technical expertise on safety issues.
Review project status and trend analysis for District Operations meetings.
Oversee injury reporting and corrective action plans on the job site.
Review DHA and participate in JHA discussions for project plans.
