Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a seasoned EHS leader to drive environment, health, and safety strategy across large projects. You will align project priorities with enterprise goals, foster proactive hazard identification and regulatory readiness, and embed accountability across teams.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams and external partners, mentor EHS professionals, and track performance metrics to guide leadership decisions and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advancement or leadership roles.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required; OSHA Course 500 training required.

Responsibilities

• Defines project-wide EHS strategy, goals, and maturity targets.
• Oversees EHS governance and audit programs across project phases.
• Leads serious-incident investigations and communicates findings.
• Partners with executives and trade partners to plan and mitigate high-risk work.
• Develops and mentors project EHS professionals.
• Represents the project in regulatory interactions and stakeholder engagements.
• Tracks and reports EHS performance metrics and informs leadership decisions.
