Job summary

Pulice Construction, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Manager to lead occupational health and safety programs across a mega project or division. You will analyze safety trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical expertise to project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Health & Safety, 15+ years in construction or safety, and 10+ years leading safety teams. You will conduct orientations, manage DHA/JHA discussions, maintain permits, and drive cost-saving safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety or related field.
• 15+ years' experience in construction or safety.
• 10+ years' experience managing construction or safety teams.
• Proven leadership with clear expectations communicated to direct reports.
• Strong ability to mentor safety professionals and build a balanced team.
• Experience training construction teams on safety principles and practices.
• Expert knowledge of onsite safety risks and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety program and procedures for projects within district.
• Analyze project site safety trends and track incidents accurately.
• Develop and conduct safety orientations and trainings; lead toolbox talks.
• Ensure permits and certifications are active and tracked to avoid delays.
• Provide technical expertise for training, equipment, and inspection needs.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and procurement for safety items.
• Provide project status and trend analysis to management and teams.
• Lead incident investigation, corrective actions, and documentation.
