Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Director of Product Management for Health Data Interoperability to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data exchange platforms, APIs, and interoperability services. You will lead a team of 4–5 Product Owners and collaborate with Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Customer Success, and executives to turn market needs into scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years in Product Management, Healthcare Technology, or Interoperability.
5+ years leading product teams and complex portfolios.
5+ years building enterprise SaaS, APIs, or healthcare data products.
4+ years with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12, TEFCA).
3+ years with cloud-based platforms and data integration.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
Expertise in lifecycle management, roadmaps, and portfolio prioritization.

Responsibilities

Define and execute long-term product strategy and roadmap for health data interoperability.
Identify market opportunities and industry trends related to interoperability and data exchange.
Drive product innovation aligned with objectives, customer needs, and standards.
Partner with executive leadership to set priorities and investments for products and platforms.
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and retirement.
Prioritize investments based on customer value and regulatory requirements.
Develop business cases, success metrics, and ROI analyses.
Define product KPIs and measure adoption, revenue growth, and operational outcomes.
Lead strategy for interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, APIs, CDA, X12, TEFCA.
Ensure regulatory compliance for data exchange and information sharing.
Drive capabilities to improve clinical data integration and patient access.
Collaborate with stakeholders to advance interoperability initiatives and partnerships.
Partner with Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Clinical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support positioning and adoption.
Engage with customers and industry partners to gather feedback and validate direction.
Serve as executive product leader for interoperability initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop PMs/POs.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Establish product management governance and operating models.
Drive alignment around priorities and strategic initiatives.
