Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks a Director, Global Quality to lead the global quality strategy for Fueling Solutions. You will deploy the reliability system, drive quality improvement across product lifecycles, and partner with Product, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure top-tier quality standards.

Requires a engineering degree and 8+ years in technical roles with 5+ years in quality leadership, plus ISO 9001 expertise. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline required.
• 8+ years in a technical role designing and optimizing products/manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years in a quality leadership role with cross-functional influence.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Strong project management, prioritization, and deadline skills.
• Excellent communication across diverse audiences and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global quality strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead deployment and improvement of the Vontier Reliability System.
• Define and manage a department-level quality deployment plan with targets and resources.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to embed quality from design through end of life.
• Oversee ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
• Lead customer defect tracking, containment, corrective action, and communications.
• Develop quality KPIs, dashboards, and data analytics for decision-making.
• Strengthen supplier quality management with procurement and operations.
• Plan and support internal and external audits and verify corrective actions.
• Lead and develop quality staff and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Provide senior leadership with insights and status on quality performance and priorities.
