Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to oversee daily manufacturing engineering operations. The role focuses on SQDC outcomes, leading a team of engineers, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring customer needs and employee well-being are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or Business Management (required).
• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive engineering experience, with exposure to product development, process engineering, manufacturing quality, and process improvement (required).
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional communication to support sustaining Eng. for Gilbarco products and ensure seamless product launches.
• Lead problem solving with root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Guide Manufacturing Engineering to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery goals and provide engineering leadership.
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and support environmental sustainability.
• Identify and prioritize design and process improvements to enhance Safety, Quality and Delivery.
