Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks a Director of Global Quality to lead the global quality strategy for Fueling Solutions. You will drive deployment and continuous improvement of the quality system across the product lifecycle and global manufacturing footprint.

You will lead quality workstreams, partner with engineering and operations, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance while delivering measurable improvements and stakeholder confidence. Expect up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 8+ years in a technical role designing/optimizing products or manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years in quality leadership with cross-functional impact.
• Deep knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001.
• Strong PM skills and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused global quality strategy aligned to business objectives and customer expectations.
• Lead deployment and continuous improvement of the Vontier Reliability System.
• Define and manage a department-level quality deployment plan with targets and resources.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to embed quality practices.
• Oversee ISO 9001 compliance and other regulatory and customer requirements.
• Lead customer defect tracking and resolution processes with timely investigation and action.
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to monitor performance.
• Strengthen supplier quality management with monitoring and performance improvement.
• Plan and support internal and external audits and close corrective actions.
• Lead quality professionals and report insights to senior leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of working time.
