Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the Global QMS, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO and IATF standards.

You will lead auditing teams, manage corrective actions, coach others in quality tools, and partner with manufacturing to deploy Kaizen events and data-driven quality reporting across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Electro-mechanical).
• 7+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years in quality planning, tools and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead Auditor certification with 1-3 years in a Lead Auditor position.
• Experience with ISO9001, ISO4001, ISO18000; IATF/TS 16949 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices to assure continuous improvement, conformance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with global QMS leaders to ensure awareness and understanding of the Quality Management System.
• Lead internal audit system and team of auditors.
• Drive quality related policy deployment objectives and Kaizen/event facilitation.
