Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root Fueling Solutions within Vontier is seeking a Director, Global Quality to lead the global quality strategy and drive continuous improvement across product lifecycle and manufacturing footprint. This role partners with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Support to embed quality from design through end of life.

You will oversee ISO 9001 compliance, develop KPIs and dashboards, manage audits, and mentor quality teams while traveling up to 50% of time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years leadership in quality management across functions.
• 8+ years in technical roles designing/optimizing products or processes.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and quality systems experience.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working with global teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused global quality strategy aligned to business objectives and operational priorities.
• Lead deployment and ongoing improvement of the Vontier Reliability System.
• Define and manage a department-level quality deployment plan with targets and resources.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to embed quality from design through end of life.
• Oversee ISO 9001 compliance and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
• Lead customer defect tracking, investigation, containment, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs, dashboards, and data analytics.
• Strengthen supplier quality management and conduct audits.
• Plan and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
• Lead and develop quality professionals and mentor teams.
• Provide clear insights and status updates to senior leadership.
