Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks a Director of Global Quality to develop and execute a global quality strategy across our fueling solutions. You will lead the deployment of the Vontier Reliability System, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance across our manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience designing and optimizing products and/or manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years leading quality management initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused global quality strategy aligned to business objectives and customer expectations.
• Lead deployment and continuous improvement of the Vontier Reliability System.
• Define and manage a department-level quality deployment plan with targets and resources.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to embed quality from design through end of life.
• Oversee ISO 9001 compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Lead customer defect tracking, investigation, CAPA, and communications with stakeholders.
• Develop quality KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to monitor performance and guide decisions.
• Strengthen supplier quality management with monitoring, issue resolution and improvements.
• Plan internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Lead quality professionals and collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
