Job summary

Valvoline Global Operations seeks a Director of Quality & Operational Excellence to lead global strategy, governance, and capability development across Quality and Operational Excellence in the Supply Chain Center of Excellence. This role partners with regional leaders, plant managers, IT, R&D, and Procurement to improve quality execution, reduce risk, and drive measurable performance.

The position requires 10–15 years of leadership in quality and manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma credentials,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent and related quality certifications (e.g., CQE, CMQ/OE).
• 10–15 years of global quality, manufacturing, or operations leadership in ISO 9001/IATF 16949 environments.
• Ability to translate data into executive-level insights and dashboards for governance and decision-making.
• Strong matrix leadership, communication, coaching, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern Global Quality OGSM and operating model across the function.
• Establish and maintain the Quality measurement system with site/regional scorecards and KPI governance.
• Lead TRACC-based Operational Excellence initiatives and Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Provide leadership for GQMS, GQIA, vLIMS visibility, Power BI dashboards, and digital capabilities.
