Job summary

The Director of Medical Communications at Bristol Myers Squibb will lead a global team within Global Medical Affairs to develop and execute medical communications for Neuroscience portfolios. You will ensure timely publications, data disclosure, and integration with scientific platforms across markets.

You will partner with cross-functional colleagues, manage budgets, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality content and publications while upholding Good Publication Practices and scientific

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD or MD preferred).
• 8-10 years of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry experience with a focus on medical communications.
• Experience of leading a large team or multiple teams; and demonstrated strength in leading teams to high performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate.
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and develop teams with a focus on quick deliverables.
• Experience leading cross-functional, cross-cultural project teams, and collaborating across matrix, multiple markets, and global geographies.
• Demonstrated success driving optimal business results in a large complex corporate environment with multiple priorities and tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical communications strategy across global markets.
• Oversee publication plans, content plan, and SCP alignment.
• Lead development of personalized medical communications and timely publications.
• Mentor and manage a team of staff and contractors to ensure high performance.
• Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and external experts to ensure data integrity and impactful communications.
