Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director of Medical Communications to lead the strategy and execution of the Medical Communications portfolio across markets. You will ensure publication planning, data disclosure, and engagement with investigators to inform healthcare providers and patients worldwide.

The role requires leading a large team, managing budgets, and collaborating across matrix organizations to deliver timely scientific content and publications across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Advance scientific degree such as PharmD, PhD or MD preferred.
• 8–10 years of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry experience in medical communications.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and global programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop market-level medical communications plans and ensure high-quality publications worldwide.
• Lead pull-through and execution of the Scientific Narrative with publication plans and SCP.
• Oversee data disclosure, dissemination, and engagement with external investigators and journals.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources to highest business priorities within Medical Communications Asset/Indication scope.
• Provide leadership across markets and matrix partners to drive timely submissions and congress presentations.
