Job summary

TechStream seeks a Director of Licensing Program Strategy & Analytics to lead market intelligence, planning, and financial analysis for global licensing programs. You will support acquisitions, forecast performance, and drive strategic prioritization for licensing resources.

The role requires strong financial modeling, executive communication, and experience in tech/IP licensing or related advisory environments, with a track record of cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, transaction advisory, IP investment or licensing, or related fields.
• Demonstrated acquisition underwriting, valuation, or financial due diligence experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling skills with ability to build and evaluate forecasts.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for senior executives and board audiences.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead market, competitive, and licensee analysis to identify opportunities across licensing programs.
• Develop strategic target-account frameworks including technology use, revenue, and geography.
• Monitor developments and translate implications into licensing strategy and resource allocation.
• Support due diligence for portfolio acquisitions with market sizing and risk assessment.
• Partner with technical and legal teams to align portfolio strengths with commercial opportunities.
