Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director Commissioning - Gas Power Generation to lead commissioning strategy and execution for multiple utility-scale gas power projects. This remote role partners with project managers, engineering, and leadership to align activities with specs and schedules.

The ideal candidate brings deep field execution experience, strong technical judgment, and a track record of building best practices in a fast-moving construction environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in utility-scale natural gas power generation or EPC field execution.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering, design concepts, and electrical construction.
• Knowledge of estimating strategies and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and CTC net software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full commissioning process for multiple projects.
• Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning strategies.
• Establish and maintain commissioning best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the commissioning process.
• Monitor commissioning activities for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Develop subordinate project managers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Communicate progress and concerns to leadership and upscale critical issues.
