Job summary

Logos Space is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to own internal planning, financial models, and data-driven decision support. You will translate ambitious technical milestones and capital plans into robust, investable financial strategies to guide growth and operations.

The role reports to the VP of Corporate Development and Operations, partnering with engineering and business teams to build scalable models, rolling forecasts, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking.
• Mastery-level financial modeling skills, with a proven ability to build complex models from the ground up.
• Hands-on mindset - thrives on the tactical execution of building and managing their own models.
• High proficiency with modern ERP ecosystems and cloud-based FP&A data tools.
• Exceptional ability to deliver crystal-clear financial insights to executive decision-makers.
• High professional flexibility - the agility to pivot strategic messaging as timelines shift, and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and stress-test sophisticated, multi-year financial models and predictive scenario analyses from scratch.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and execute agile rolling forecasts that capture fast-moving technical and operational shifts.
• Provide the financial engine for upcoming capital raises by keeping models, metrics, and data rooms in a permanent state of investment-grade diligence.
• Craft high-impact financial narratives, variance reports, and strategic decks for leadership and the board.
• Partner with engineering and business operations teams to map unit economics, project lifecycles, and capital investments.
• Implement and optimize modern ERP and FP&A software to automate tracking and internal reporting.
