LHH is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function and partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and executive reporting, while guiding a small team of financial analysts.

The ideal candidate will drive modernization of the finance function by leveraging technology and AI to enhance reporting, analysis, and overall efficiency across the organization.

Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead its FP&A function and serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership.

This is a highly visible role with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, executive reporting, and strategic analysis. The Director will lead a small team of financial analysts while partnering closely with senior finance leadership on both traditional FP&A and broader strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Prepare financial and management reporting for executive leadership and the Board
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts
• Partner closely with senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives
• Support financial modeling related to acquisitions, licensing, and other growth opportunities

• Help evaluate and implement opportunities to leverage AI and technology within the finance function

What We’re Looking For

• Strong progressive FP&A experience with ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Prior leadership or people management experience
• Experience preparing executive-level and/or Board reporting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Exposure to M&A, transaction-related modeling, licensing, or other strategic finance initiatives is highly desirable
• Experience using technology, automation, or AI to improve finance processes is a plus
• Background supporting a complex, multi-faceted organization preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership
