The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Director to lead and manage assigned resources across the practice area, working with the Managing Director to achieve strategic and financial targets. The role emphasizes client satisfaction, employee engagement, and developing a high-performing team of consultants with a focus on advisory, project management and dispute resolution services.

Directors will oversee a broad range of activities including forensic investigations, code research, report writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, science or engineering field or advanced degrees as called for in area of specialization.
• Minimum of 10 years' industry experience.
• 3+ years' experience as a senior leader of a division or department with financial responsibility.
• Proactively generate revenue and build client relationships.
• Proven track record in staff management and development.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage in support of strategic plans and objectives.
• Support MD to meet annual budget and revenue goals for the practice area.
• Develop and retain new accounts and expand existing engagements.
• Delegate, monitor progress, and ensure high quality work product.
• Foster relationships with decision makers and cross-sell services.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and drive OKRs for the team.
• Travel as necessary to support clients and leadership needs.
• Establish quality control of service delivery and address challenges.
