The expected base salary range for this position is $104,580 to $162,500. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY: The Director, Financial Systems will oversee WCG’s ERP, CRM, expense, invoice and timesheet systems, related applications and future implementations. This role is responsible and accountable for the overall strategic development, delivery, maintenance and support of these core financial systems. This role partners across Finance, Technology Solutions, and business departments to ensure robust system architecture, process automation, and seamless operations to support the company’s growth and business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- Provide vision and technical direction for all financial systems, ensuring NetSuite and related ecosystem support current and future business needs.
- Lead the team responsible for development and administration of NetSuite, Salesforce and other finance & corporate applications including procurement, expense and billing.
- Identify strategic business drivers and anticipate future business and technology requirements within the Corporate Shared Services groups.
- Guide system solution and technical approach to solving business problems.
- Institute documentation and knowledge management processes.
- Offer strategic guidance and leadership to cross-functional team in the Technology Solutions organization that impact or are impacted by finance applications.
- Partner with stakeholders and leaders to develop system roadmaps and long-term strategies for process improvement and automation within the finance and accounting applications ecosystem.
- Become the subject matter expert in WCG’s finance and accounting business processes and priorities.
- Provide strategic insights in cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document and analyze business requirements and functional specifications while identifying unspoken, conflicting and/or dependent requirements.
- Support the Finance team during month-, quarter- and year-end processes.
- Manage key vendor relationships and system integration engagements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to executive and senior leadership on project status and risk mitigation.
- Identify necessary reports, metrics and analysis to measure the effectiveness and success of completed projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements for handling Enterprise Services and corporate applications, processes like Intakes & CABs.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) acting as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to stakeholders and leading stakeholders and internal teams in developing and executing against holistic system roadmaps; prior experience with Concur, ADP, Salesforce, Dell Boomi, Adaptive Replicon and Strong Point preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with business process improvement, automation, and systems integration.
- 4+ years of experience managing employees and contingent staff, and managing cross-functional projects
- Strong working knowledge of finance/accounting processes and multiple ERP finance modules: general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables, fixed assets, order to cash, procure to pay and cash management.
- Deep understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley with experience in developing and supporting key controls for SOX compliance and audit.
- Strong understanding of integration best practices and integration platforms (e.g. Dell Boomi).
- Experience developing processes for writing business requirement documents, functional & technical specifications and UAT scripts for internal teams.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
- Experience working with a globally distributed team.
- Demonstrated implementation experience including project management, incident management and change management.
- Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall responsibility of management including direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of the assigned team and staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
