Eversource Energy seeks an experienced Training & Development leader to oversee the on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs for field operations staff (Line workers). You will partner with Executives, Directors, Managers and Supervisors to align classroom learning with hands-on progression, ensuring strong safety practices and measurable performance improvements.

The role requires developing assessment tools, managing budgets, and guiding Field Training staff while ensuring recordkeeping

Qualificações

• Minimum of twelve (12) years managing employee training activities and working in training & development, education setting or operations management.
• Demonstrated experience in working and communicating across functional boundaries, interacting with a union workforce and process improvement as well as operations experience and knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees the on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs for field operations employees (Line workers).
• Develops training performance assessment tools and materials for field trainers.
• Manages work plans and budgets aligning classroom training with field progression across crafts (overhead, underground, stations, meters, gas, driver).
• Ensures development of new equipment training and closes performance gaps with measurable improvements.
• Maintains training records, certifications and qualifications; oversees Field Training staff development.
