Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Training & Development, Education or related discipline.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years managing employee training activities and working in training & development or operations management.
• Experience working across functional boundaries, with a union workforce and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs for field operations employees.
• Ensure training aligns with work standards, tools, equipment and safety practices.
• Develop performance assessment tools and materials for field trainers.
• Create a work plan and budget that aligns classroom training with field progression.
• Implement evaluation tools to measure progress and proficiency.
• Maintain training and compliance records and certifications.
