Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Director, Event Technology I to lead the local team, drive revenue and profitability, and deliver World-Class service for events at a venue. You will oversee operations, sales support, and client relationships while developing staff and ensuring high-quality equipment and service standards.

You will manage a team responsible for AV setups, scheduling, and on-site support, coordinating with sales and venues to maximize performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in live events.
• Pass Level 3 Skills training.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable operation by controlling labor, equipment sub-rentals and costs.
• Manage location P&L and develop action plans to grow the business.
• Perform daily floor operations, scheduling, setup and strikes.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, attend site visits and customer meetings.
• Deliver world-class service and maintain relationships with clients and venue staff.
• Oversee technical aspects and guide technicians on equipment issues.
• Provide coaching and development for team members.
