Job summary

Encore is seeking a Director, Event Technology (SNE) to lead venue technology, drive revenue and uphold World-Class service while building strong venue relationships. The role manages a small team and reports to Area/Regional Venues leadership.

The position combines financial management, operations, and on-site technical leadership for events, requiring AV expertise, supervisory experience, and a proven track record in live events/hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage venue relationships and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on client retention.
• Drive revenue and profitability by managing labor, equipment, sub-rentals and other costs.
• Perform daily floor operations including scheduling, equipment setups, operation and strikes.
• Act as the on-site technician for events when needed and troubleshoot equipment/software issues.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, present to customers, and support site visits and planning meetings.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and generate performance/forecast reports for senior management.
