Job summary

TFS, Ltd. is seeking a Director of Equipment Application & Fleet Solutions. This field-based role travels across North America, observing operations to recommend brand-independent fleet solutions.

You will be the go-to equipment expert across the company, supporting account management and multi-site customers with practical specifications and strong technical credibility. Reporting to the EVP, Fleet Management, this exempt position requires 60%+ travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience with material handling equipment in a dealer, OEM, or large end-user fleet environment.
• Proven experience in application engineering, fleet consulting, or equipment sales engineering with a strong field-based track record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site application analyses at customer facilities, including material handling equipment and facility layouts.
• Gather facility data through observation, measurements, photos, and telemetry to support fleet recommendations.
• Present findings and recommendations to warehouse leaders and executives.
• Specify the right equipment for the application (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Maintain knowledge of major OEMs and equipment classes I–VII.
• Build a standardized specification library and tools for faster solution development.
• Join account management visits to provide technical credibility and support consulting.
