Job summary

TFS, Ltd. is seeking a Director of Equipment Application & Fleet Solutions to serve as the internal expert on material handling equipment specifications and applications.

The role concentrates on observing client operations across North America and guiding account teams to recommended fleet solutions. The position requires 10+ years in the field, strong analytical capability, and the ability to travel 60% or more, with a focus on brand-neutral specifications and OEM knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience with material handling equipment in a major forklift OEM or dealer.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven field-based experience in application engineering, fleet consulting, or sales engineering.
• Deep knowledge of MHE classes I-VII and warehouse operations.
• Ability to translate technical data into business impact for customers.
• Willingness to travel 60% or more, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site analyses of material handling equipment, docks, aisles, and rack layouts.
• Gather facility data to support practical fleet recommendations.
• Present findings to warehouse leaders, operations, and executives.
• Specify appropriate equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and AGVs.
• Maintain brand-independent evaluation of equipment across major brands.
• Build a standardized specification library and decision tools.
• Join account visits to provide technical credibility and support consulting selling.
