Job summary

TFS is seeking a Director of Equipment Application & Fleet Solutions to serve as the internal SME for material handling equipment specification, application analysis, and equipment selection. This field-based role travels to customer facilities across North America and supports brand-independent fleet solutions for multi-site customers.

The position is full-time exempt and reports to the EVP, Fleet Management; 60%+ travel is expected. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience with material handling equipment in dealer, OEM, or large end-user fleet.
• Proven experience in application engineering, fleet consulting, or equipment sales engineering.
• Deep knowledge of MHE classes I through VII and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site application analyses at customer facilities for material handling equipment and layouts.
• Gather facility data to support fleet recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
• Specify equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers, AGVs.
• Travel 60% or more to customer sites across North America.
