Job summary

International Justice Mission seeks a Director, Internal Communications to build IJM’s enterprise internal communications capability. This strategic leader will shape the operating model, governance, channels, and measurement to align employees with priorities and changes across a global matrix.

Partnering with Global Technology Solutions, the role will evaluate platforms and emerging technologies to improve clarity, accessibility, and employee experience, reporting to the Vice President,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred in Communications, Organizational Development, Change Management, Journalism, PR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in internal or corporate communications, global or matrixed environment a must.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide internal comms strategies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead IJM's global internal communications strategy aligned to priorities and needs.
• Define a multi-year vision, operating model, governance, and roadmap for internal comms.
• Advise senior leaders on communication effectiveness and change readiness.
• Build tools, templates, and playbooks for change communication and adoption.
• Establish listening and feedback mechanisms, including AI-enabled initiatives.
