Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) seeks a Director, Accounting, Statutory Reporting to lead IJM’s global accounting and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency. The role oversees audits and statutory filings, driving governance and reporting quality across the organization.

The candidate will manage regulatory reporting, NICRA submissions, and SOFE methodology while partnering with cross-functional leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification preferred or strongly considered.
• Minimum eight years in accounting/audit/global consolidation or statutory reporting.
• Experience leading annual financial statement audits and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and Form 990 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting and external financial reporting functions.
• Oversee annual consolidated financial statement audits and IRS Form 990 filings.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, ASC 842, and NICRA-related reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and regional finance teams on reporting matters.
