Job summary

International Justice Mission seeks a Manager of Communications to lead global marketing and donor communications. You will craft messaging for major donor events, campaigns, and executive engagements, shaping narratives and content across channels to strengthen IJM’s brand and mission.

The role involves coordinating across teams, guiding storytelling, and developing scalable messaging assets to maximize audience reach and trust. A strong portfolio and writing excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing communications, campaigns, and donor communications.
• Strong writing and editing for live events, digital platforms, print materials, and donor channels.
• Translate complex organizational priorities into clear, audience-centered messaging.
• Develop messaging strategies and reusable content assets for multi-channel communications.
• Experience with donor communications and engagement principles.

Responsibilities

• Write messaging strategies and content for major donor events, campaigns, executive scripting, donor communications, and organizational storytelling moments.
• Shape stage narratives, speaker messaging, and donor communications for major donor events.
• Develop and operationalize global marketing communications strategies aligned to IJM’s Brand Platform.
• Lead content strategies that strengthen brand coherence and widen audience reach.
• Coordinate messaging across digital, print, presentation, and donor-facing channels.
• Develop and maintain scalable messaging frameworks and reusable content assets.
• Provide strategic communication counsel and editorial leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Lead sessions to strengthen messaging concepts and audience relevance.
