Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Director of Enterprise Environmental to provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight for environmental strategy and risk management across its operating companies. The role partners with senior leaders to drive regulatory compliance, performance, and continuous improvement enterprise-wide.

The position leads environmental governance across air, water, waste, remediation, biodiversity, and related priorities, while aligning with Sustainability and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with strong environmental background.
• Proven experience leading environmental governance and compliance programs.
• Experience with risk assessment and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise environmental strategy, governance, and performance expectations across operating companies.
• Oversee compliance assurance, assessments, and corrective-action programs—drive improvement.
• Provide strategic guidance on environmental risks and regulatory developments to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Sustainability to align environmental performance with corporate objectives.
• Foster enterprise collaboration through governance forums and knowledge sharing.
