Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to lead the development and implementation of enterprise risk management strategies for the board and senior leadership.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, governance, and risk reporting across the organization, with extensive interaction with executives and external forums. A strong quantitative background and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10 years or more experience in the utility industry in roles that provide significant exposure to issues related to risk management, finance, and/or strategy.
• 5 years or more experience as a manager
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Enterprise risk oversight and analysis (40%)
• Preparation of agendas and materials for Risk Management Committee, Audit and Risk Committee, Emerging Issues Steering Committee meetings (30%)
• Special projects and consulting, and ad hoc business team support relating to risk issues (20%)
• Internal and external communications, administration, budget, and coordination (10%)
