Job summary

LUMICERA Health Services seeks a Director of Analytics and Data to lead the enterprise data and analytics function remotely. You will guide strategy, governance, and delivery of trusted data products, partnering across finance, clinical and technology teams to enable data-driven decisions.

The role requires a strong leadership track record, experience in healthcare data and HIPAA, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive data/analytics experience in an enterprise environment.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience including leading technical or analytical teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms, data pipelines, data models, reporting, dashboards, and governed self-service analytics.
• Experience establishing data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, access, and privacy practices.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms, modern data architecture, BI, and AI foundations.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, HIPAA, and regulated environments.
• Ability to translate business priorities into measurable analytical outcomes and communicate tradeoffs to executives.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data and analytics strategy, roadmap, operating model, and priorities in alignment with Lumicera objectives.
• Lead and develop the data and analytics team, manage capacity and performance, and build capabilities for current and future needs.
• Own delivery and improvement of enterprise data products, reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Advance the Data Lakehouse and data platforms, focusing on integration, hydration, models, and scalability.
• Establish data governance ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, and privacy practices.
• Create intake and prioritization processes linking analytics demand to value and regulatory needs.
• Improve reporting by reducing redundant assets and promoting governed self-service.
• Translate strategic questions into data products and performance measures for action.
• Enable advanced analytics and AI by improving data readiness, access, and monitoring.
• Manage vendors, contracts, budgets, and platform decisions to maximize value.
• Other duties as assigned.
