Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Director of Analytics and Data to lead our remote analytics organization. You will define the data strategy, guide a team of analytics professionals, and partner with executives to deliver data products, dashboards, and insights that drive business value.

The role focuses on establishing governance, scalable platforms, and trusted data assets, enabling decision-making across clinical, pharmacy, and enterprise functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Data, Analytics, BI, or Data Platform within a complex enterprise
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience including leading technical or analytical teams
• Experience developing and executing data and analytics strategies, roadmaps, operating models, and demand prioritization processes
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms, data pipelines, data models, reporting, dashboards, and governed self-service analytics
• Experience establishing data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, access, and privacy practices
• Experience translating business priorities into measurable analytical outcomes and communicating tradeoffs to executive, operational, clinical, and technical audiences
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, delivery partners, and cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms, modern data architecture, BI, advanced analytics, and AI foundations
• Knowledge of healthcare data, HIPAA, and specialty pharmacy operations
• Participate in compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively with others

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data and analytics strategy, operating model, roadmap, and investment priorities aligned with Lumicera objectives.
• Lead and develop the data and analytics team, establish accountability, manage capacity and performance.
• Own delivery and improvement of enterprise data products, reporting, dashboards, semantic models, and analytics solutions.
• Advance the Data Lakehouse and data platforms with integration, hydration, models, and cost efficiency.
• Establish data governance for ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, access, retention, and privacy.
• Create intake and prioritization processes linking analytics demand to value and regulatory needs.
• Improve reporting by reducing redundancy, promoting governed self-service and enterprise metrics.
• Partner with leaders to translate strategic questions into data products, insights, forecasts, and performance measures.
• Enable advanced analytics and AI by improving data readiness, access, and monitoring.
• Manage data and analytics vendors, contracts, budgets, and platform decisions.
