Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization.

This role defines frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating processes that enable trusted data, responsible AI use, and measurable adoption. You will partner with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, compliance and risk teams to translate governance requirements into practical roadmaps and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, business, data management, analytics or related field with 8+ years' experience in data management or governance.
• Master's degree with typically 6+ years' experience or typically 12 years of related work without degree.
• 2+ years of experience using ERP, master data, metadata, workflow, governance, or enterprise tech platform; SAP master data acumen preferred.
• Experience with data governance, AI governance, process improvement, and change management methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives with limited oversight.
• Ability to manage roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and translate governance requirements into system changes.
• Strong understanding of international business environments and data quality, metadata, stewardship, and responsible AI governance.
• Understanding of governance accountability across functions and data quality values.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils and stakeholder forums to drive alignment, prioritization, and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap with priorities, milestones, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, and role assignments to support operations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to embed governance requirements into platforms and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and data quality.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, stewardship, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and product teams to improve metadata management and data sharing.
