Job summary

Renewance is seeking a Director of Business Development - Energy Services to translate customer insights into compelling solutions, promote at conferences, and drive orders across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You will blend hunting and farming skills to expand relationships with battery OEMs, ESS integrators, and operators.

Required are 5+ years in BD or field sales leadership in energy storage, a bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in presentations, strategic sales, and market analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as business development or field sales leader in Battery Energy Storage or closely related field.
• Experience running a full sales lifecycle including lead generation & qualification, proposal development and presentation, closing, and account management.
• Knowledge of Battery OEM, Battery Energy Storage System Integrators, and Battery Energy Storage System Operators customer segments REQUIRED.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and ability to understand customer expectations.
• Experience generating competitive analysis and benchmarking
• Skilled in presentation and public speaking
• Timely and well-organized communicator
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy for battery energy storage services and software.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Lead end-to-end sales lifecycle from lead gen to closing and account management.
• Create compelling proposals and presentations communicating value to customers.
• Maintain awareness of market drivers and adjust strategy accordingly
