Job summary

Our Next Energy seeks a Director of Strategic Business Development to drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships in the high-voltage battery space. The role requires translating complex technical details into compelling business value for engineering and executive audiences.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, travel domestically and internationally, and build robust sales pipelines with OEMs, system integrators, and government partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years in high-voltage battery or energy storage industry.
Minimum 5 years in technical business development, sales engineering, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies across target industries.
Serve as primary technical interface with customers and translate requirements into solutions.
Establish relationships with OEMs, integrators, and government agencies.
Lead capture strategies and contribute to proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and quotes.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
Maintain accurate CRM-based pipeline forecasts and report on revenue outlook.
